“The inspiration to become a coffee grower came from my father, who
has always believed in coffee farming as a way to make our dreams
come through in spite of the difficulties of this business. ”
~ Luiz Framarion Pereira Figueiredo
As a child, Luiz Framarion observed the challenges his father faced as a coffee grower, prompting him to encourage his son to pursue education beyond the family farm.
At 12, Luiz moved to Lavras, aspiring to become a doctor but later found his passion for agronomic engineering, inspired by his love for the countryside.
After graduating in 2004, he ventured into the agricultural frontiers, working with soybeans. Despite the valuable experience, he missed his hometown’s coffee scene. His father’s guidance reminded him of his roots and the resilience of providing for family despite difficulties.
In 2006, Luiz returned to Ibituruna, purchasing Fazenda Taquaral with savings from his agronomy work. Since then, he has wholeheartedly dedicated himself to coffee cultivation, following in his father’s footsteps as a passionate coffee grower.
